PRETTY.STUPID.VECTOR.BABY – WHAT IS THIS?

At a basic level, this blog is the official website for the band Centrevol. It is the centralized internet source of all information and data relating to the band including shows, music, merchandise and more. It is also provides the hub for all social networking tools that the band utilizes to connect with the greater music community abroad.
On a deeper level, PSVB is our ongoing story. It is a daily record of the band, through the voice of the band. At this point, I (Pete) will be mostly updating the blog, however from time to time the other guys will contribute as well. The blog’s title reflects the “oxymoronic” nature of pursuing music as a career: at its best moments of victory and breakthrough, it can be one of the most exhilarating and beautiful life paths to choose. However, most days are just labor and sweat, with little to no signs of forward progress or monetary gain for your efforts. Though some bands seemingly rise to fame overnight, this course is the exception and not the rule; and often many “big hit” breakthroughs come on the back of years of tireless labor in obscurity. My goal is to share our journey because ultimately i believe it is a universal one. Regardless of what vocation you choose only great things and goals of great value, come at the expense of great cost. I hope we can challenge and encourage each other in our stories, as we travel down our pretty.stupid.vector.baby.
